With our many years of experience in organising weddings we will work with you in creating a wedding package to suit your requirements.

Our approach to your very special day is to tailor everything to your needs, from drinks at the reception to the creation of our individual menu with choices of each course for you and your guests on the day.

Wedding Venue

The Fountain Inn is situated on the Oldwood Road approx 1 mile out of Tenbury Wells.

Our Oldwood Suite can seat up to 70 guests in comfort, where we will endeavour to meet all the needs of yourself and your guests, ensuring that we help to make your special day perfect.

To accommodate a larger number of guests we would reccommend that you hire a Marquee which can be placed in the Garden at the Fountain Inn and attached to the Oldwood Suite. This will allow for 250 guests to be seated with space for up to 350 evening guests.

Should you choose The Fountain Inn you will be assigned a designated wedding co-ordinator, who will be available for meetings up to 1 hour, to help you from the initial booking right through to your wedding day. If you have any queries, jot them down and bring them to an arranged meeting.

Wedding Marquees Available For Hire

We are please to recommend Garden Marquees in Leominster 01568 613011 which can seat 250 (Cold Buffet Menu Option only)

Wedding Breakfast

We have a selection of hot and cold Wedding Breakfast menus to suit all tastes. All food is prepared in our kitchen using fresh vegetables in season and all our sweets are homemade.

Please note that the menus are only a guide and can be adapted to your liking.

Wedding Serviettes

Choose your serviette to match the colour scheme of your flowers; or bridesmaid dresses, we can match most colours. Linen serviettes are available at an extra cost; please enquire

A round cake stand and Silver Cake Knife are provided free of charge

Wedding Flowers

We are happy to provide a quote for the flowers for your wedding

We have a post box for hire at a cost of £15.00 please ask to view.

Wedding Reception Evening Party

Follow your reception with an evening party. At The Fountain we offer a generous finger buffet menu for £9.50 per head.

For Discos we are pleased to recommend Shaun O`Toole and we can arrange this at a cost of £200. However, you may wish to use your own disco or have a live band performing at your party. In this case you must advise us of your intentions and the chosen entertainer must contact the hotel management to discuss arrangements and liability cover.

The Band Must finish by 12.00 Midnight

The bar will remain open until 12.00 Midnight with last orders being 11.30pm.

If coaches or taxis are being booked please arrange collection time so that the venue is vacated by 12.30am

Please take a look at our accommodation page to help you to allocate rooms to your requirements; however we do insist you supply us with final requirements at least 8 weeks in advance of your wedding

Booking Procedure

A provisional booking will be held for 28 Days only At this stage you will need to come and see us, so that we can fill in a form with your details and give you a date in which you need to confirm by, We will keep copies of this.

A deposit of £500.00 is required to reserve a wedding booking

ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-RETURNABLE

Initial Details Appointment

Ideally we would like to arrange an appointment to meet us about six months prior to your big day, at a stage where we can loosely discuss menus, accommodation details and advance bookings of things like discos. Please contact us to arrange a convenient time

Cancellation Policy

Any Cancellations or amendments must be confirmed in writing to the Hotel.

In the event of a cancellation you will be liable to pay a cancellation fee in respect of the value of the total business booked.

The scale of the charges back dated from the book date are as follows:-

0-2 Months 90%

3-4 Months 75%

5-6 Months 50%

7 and above months 20%

The Hotel strongly advises that you take out an insurance policy to cover you in the event of a cancellation

Final Numbers

Final numbers are required no later than one month before your wedding day; these must be coupled with a seating plan and any special dietary requirements. The number provided at this time will be the final chargeable number.

Payments

All accounts must be settled one month prior to the day, with an exception of guests who are paying for their own accommodation.

The Fountain Inn reserves the right to withhold any services if the payment has not been made.

All payments should be made with cheque, debit card or cash whenever possible. A charge of 5% will be payable if you wish to pay by credit card

Your guests will be invoiced individually for their accommodation, unless otherwise specified, and payment will be due before they leave the hotel. (This is in line with out normal payment terms)

The Fountain Inn does not accept liability for loss of damage of personal possessions on the premises
